Not So Straight
That's a Peel Breaker Quilt Pattern (PDF)
Regular price $12.00 (USD)
One weekend, Ben decided to make a bed coverlet and use scraps, in an attempt to check off all the items on his to-do list at once. And why not do some curves and just wing it? That's a Peel Breaker was born from that project. This Intermediate pattern uses orange peels and quarter rounds created of four-square blocks to make a Throw (56 x 76"). Paper templates (with links for optional acrylic templates) and a slew of organizational guides are included to help the creation process.
About the Designer
Ben Millett's quilting journey started as a way to celebrate new nieces and nephews and to have a creative outlet outside of his work hours at an agricultural company in Des Moines, Iowa. He really enjoyed piecing the quilt tops, but would grow frustrated that his quilting lines were all over the place. Around this same time, he realized that he was not so straight. Playing on both those ideas, his creative endeavors came together as Not So Straight by Ben Millett and are shared at @benmillett on Instagram and https://benmillett.us/.
Ben is grateful his husband and son let him retreat to the craft room for hours on end. He is also a member of the Central Iowa Modern Quilt Guild.
