Migration Quilt Pattern (PDF)
Inspired by the beauty of geese migrating on a clear fall day along the South Texas coast, this quilt is created with Robert Kaufman’s Kona® Cotton Solids and features three color-ways–Blue, Pink, and Grey– in 5 different colors, ranging in hues from light to dark value.
The pattern includes measurements, easy-to-use instructions, and a quilt diagram to create your own Migration quilt in baby, throw or queen size. Please be sure to read through all of the instructions before you begin.
About the Designer
Kristi Schroeder Larson is a designer, quilter, entrepreneur and avid traveler living in Austin, Texas and is the creative behind Initial K Studio. Kristi came to quilting world quite accidentally through her work as a graphic designer in the corporate world.
This native Texan is a world traveler who draws inspiration for her designs in art, fashion, and textiles from around the globe, as well as exploring the great outdoors. Her love for design and travel has continued over the years and when not working or sewing, you'll find Kristi actively planning her next adventure with her pup Dash and husband Darren.
Kristi is a member of the Modern Quilt Guild and has been published in Love Patchwork & Quilting, Make Modern Magazine, QuiltCon Magazine as well as being featured in D Magazine and Dallas Morning News, and Cowboys & Indians.
