Meet the Designers

We're proud to showcase the work of our amazing collaborators! Thank you for supporting their work and thank you to our collaborators for their community.

Rachel Hauser is a prolific blogger whose heartfelt writing and inspiring use of color has drawn a loyal following at Stitched in Color since 2010. She's an eclectic maker, sewing everything from apparel to home décor to quilts. But, especially quilts! Rachel is the founder of do. Good Stitches and leads community challenges such as #30DaysofQuiltDesign and fabric mosaic contests through her blog.

Her book, The Quilter's Field Guide to Color, will be released in 2019.

Rebecca Burnett is a recovering architect. She loves designing but hates sitting at a desk all day, so she is a letter carrier in her day job. Quilt design feeds her passion by combining creativity and beautiful, delicious mathematics.

Rebecca lives in Toronto with her husband, two quarrelsome children and a dog who barfs a lot. Her favourite food is cereal.

Laura Henneberry is the founder of Commonwealth Quilts, a Toronto based quilt and design studio. Laura believes that we each have something authentic to share with the world, a commonwealth. Quilts are her commonwealth.
